Here's what we know. There are people who watch movies and there are movie people. If you find yourself nodding, with immediate understanding, then you are in the right place. The Melanated Movie Club is a cinema club for movie people who are Black and looking for a safe space to enjoy the art form and community. We leave no film unwatched, especially if they are melanated masterpieces. In the MMC we're going to discuss and watch it all. Our programming ranges from virtual watch parties to film screenings with discussions, culinary cinematic experiences, listening parties, Q&A's with upcoming Black filmmakers, and more. Community matters and that's what we're building with the MMC.
